Over the last few years, online marketing has really taken off. It’s true that this started longer than a few years ago, but the early to mid 2010’s was when people really started to shift their focus on online marketing. While this is great, it means that there are so many people who now no longer use traditional marketing methods which isn’t ideal. So, that’s what we’re going to be looking at today, traditional marketing methods that work. Down below, we’re going to talk about some of the traditional methods that you should be using to bring in more business!
Promotional Materials
We’re going to start by looking at promotional materials. How many companies actually use these these days? People love them though because people love free things, and if you can get people to use these items, or display them somewhere they can be seen, your marketing without actually doing anything.
Patches, pens, lanyards and so much more are all good for this, and are definitely options you should be looking into. As well as those you can look at a company such as The Pin Factory to create the custom business pins that you need to give out at trade shows, send as freebies to customers and so much more.
Television Advertisements
Yes, they still exist. For those people who don’t watch too much live TV these days, you might not even think that TV advertisements are still a thing, but they are. If you can create an ad and get it in a prime time spot, that’s going to do wonders for your business. You will reach a whole new audience of people, helping you to bring more customers to your business, hopefully driving up overall success.
You’ve got to get this right though, so take your time and don’t put anything on TV that isn’t perfect. While ads are typically played pretty repetitively, you still don’t want people rolling their eyes when yours comes on the screen because they don’t like it.
Good Old Fashion Flyers
Lastly, you may remember back in the day when a leaflet landed on your door mat advertising a new business or sale in the local area. This is what people did long before social media ever became a thing. It has been proven time and time again that it works, however, junk mail has made it slightly harder to get noticed. This is simply because leaflets and flyers all get delivered together, if you are using a delivery service.
If you do it yourself or pay someone to just post your leaflets then you have a better chance of people taking the time to look at your leaflets. If you make them eye-catching then this also ups your chances of new customers walking through your doors or browsing your website. Speak to your local printing company as they will more than likely do you a deal, the more you print the more you will save.
