At the same time, knowing performance vs trust is a vital factor in the process. Micromanaging your employees isn’t recommended, as it’ll interfere with their ability to work. Putting a certain amount of trust in them gives them the freedom they need to actually get things done.
Taking a relatively hands-off approach while making sure they’re doing their job is recommended. It lets everyone get things done.
2. Communicate Openly
Communication is a vital part of managing your employees. You’ll need to be open with communication to make sure everyone’s on the same page and know what they’re doing. You should go beyond simply telling them what you want.
You should also let them communicate openly with you. This lets them provide you with feedback and ideas about how things could be run better, as well as letting you know if there are any problems. It makes them feel more comfortable talking to you.

3. Reward
Nobody wants hard work to go unnoticed. If your employees feel as though you’re not paying attention to the work they do, they’re less likely to go above and beyond for you. They’ll likely stick with the bare minimum and not do much else.
You should go out of your way to reward employees that put the effort in. It’ll make them feel great while encouraging them to keep up the good work. It’s also worth doing this in front of other employees.
Doing this shows them they’ll also be rewarded if they put the extra work in, adding an incentive for them. It’ll reap greater rewards in the long term.

If you don’t know how to manage your employees, they mightn’t work as effectively as you’d want. There could also be inter-worker issues, making things even worse. You’ll need to implement a few strategies to make sure that doesn’t happen.
By rewarding hard work, monitoring performance, and communicating openly, you make things much easier. While that means spending some time and effort on it now, it’ll reap significant dividends in the long-term.
