The power of music is immeasurable.

If you are feeling down, then a song can instantly make you feel better. If you are feeling tired, then music can give you the boost of energy needed. On the other hand, a song can pull at your heartstrings and have you in tears as stories of love and heartbreak are beautifully relayed. The impact is simply remarkable. It seems that music is a universal language everybody understands. It breaks boundaries. It unites everybody. In essence, it’s quite simply incredible. And so it is no surprise that so many corporations are using music for media purposes. The impact of music in advertisements is particularly interesting, hence why this article narrows in on this area specifically.

However, you should not merely go for the first track you hear that corresponds with what you are looking for. Instead, you need to opt for a more of a trial and error type process. Listen to every word that is sung and correlate it to the image you see in front of you. Make sure nothing seems out of place or does not match. However, most commercials only last for approximately thirty seconds. Your music choice needs to create an astounding impact within half a minute. Make sure you pick a clip whereby the effect of the music is felt straight away. You need to engage people’s attention instantly.
